Thank you to Alexianne and Solenne ( and Camille who keeps me posted!) from IDAIA for the wonderful guided tour last night: A wonderful travel in the Aboriginal Centres of Art Australia-wide in one spot: the Art Gallery of NSW! Energy, vibrations, deep feelings, thrills to be expected! Ocres by Rover Thomas & Queenie McKenzie( Kimberleys); barks from John Nawumdjul(Arnhem Land), then acrylic media by Makinti Npanangka ( Papunya NT Alice Springs), Harry Tjutjuna aka Spiderman( Ninuku, NT/WA); breathtaking photographs of Brenda L Croft, goose bumps, thrills; a wall installation of Tony Albert gathering objects and imagery……just to name a few! A MUST SEE!
