The National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA) is Australia’s longest running and most prestigious Indigenous art award. The aim is to recognise the important contribution made by Indigenous artists from regional and urban areas throughout Australia, working in both traditional and contemporary media.

Indigenous artists from across Australia and in all stages of their career are encouraged to enter the Awards. This year over 300 entries were submitted to the Awards, of which 67 of the best works were selected by the pre-selection committee for this year’s exhibition.
