IDAIA is launching its new collection of Aboriginal textile accessories IKUNTJI at the iconic Parisian department store BHV Marais from January 29, 2022.<\/p>\n

After the B\u00e1bbarra Collection<\/a>, developed in collaboration with the women artists of the B\u00e1bbarra Women’s Center in the community of Maningrida in Arnhem Land, the Ikuntji Collection takes you to the heart of the central desert of Australia, with the Ikuntji Artists.<\/p>\n

The launch is part of the BHV’s special event “Couleurs Australie – A chromatic journey”, from January 29 to February 27, 2022, organised in partnership with Tourism Australia and the Australian Embassy in Paris.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the BHV is placing Australia at the heart of the department store, with a selection of key Australian brands showcased in the superb Agora area on the ground floor,\u00a0exhibition\u00a0Piinpi: Contemporary Australian Indigenous Fashion<\/em><\/a>\u00a0in the BHV’s Observatory space, an Australian pop-up caf\u00e9, and a program of workshops and meetings.<\/p>\n
