Curated by Hoor Al Qasimi, the exhibition showcases thought-provoking art from Australia and around the globe, exploring themes of migration, exile and belonging, with particular attention to First Nations stories and the voices of diasporic communities that shape Australia today.
Highlights include a powerful presentation of ‘Ngurrara Canvas Il’ led by Ngurrara cultural leaders, performers and artists from the Western Desert region of Western Australia, alongside conversations with participating artists including Maritea Dæhlin, Abdul Abdullah, Merilyn Fairskye and Michiel Dolk.

On the opening day, a special performance and artist talk will be held with senior Pitjantjatjara man Frank Young and Anangu performers celebrating the Kulata Tjuta project, a powerful expression of cultural knowledge, storytelling and community.
