From April 18th to June 14th 2026: experience Western Australia’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art, ‘Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists’ in Boorloo (Perth) with an eight-week exhibition at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).
‘Revealed’ spotlights over 100 new and emerging Western Australia Aboriginal artists in one expansive exhibition. Remarkable in its breadth, Revealed explores language, community and identity through a myriad of techniques and materials, including painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture and weaving. The exhibition transports visitors across WA – from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West with more than 185 artworks from 26 Aboriginal art centres and 10 independent artists across urban, regional and remote communities.

The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to purchase works with proceeds going directly to art centres, artists and their communities. This support helps sustain emerging artists’ practices and the continuation of cultural expression.

The exhibition is accompanied by free artist talks, workshops, a drop-in art making space, and a not-to-be-missed opening night. The Revealed Exhibition 2026 is curated by Whadjuk, Balladong and Wilman Noongar artist and curator Zali Morgan. It is proudly delivered under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub WA (AACHWA) – the peak advocacy and resource body for Aboriginal art centres in the state – and is presented in association with the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA).
