From the 6th of February until the 29th of March, experience ‘Trails and Tales of Trade: Across Land and Sea’ at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art. The retrospective transforms the PICA Hub into a hands-on landscape of making, play and shared discovery. Designed for all ages, this immersive experience invites visitors to touch, sort, gather and play their way through different environments – from saltwater shores to tall timber forests, desert plains and stone country.

Imagined by Ron Bradfield, ‘Trails and Tales of Trade’ invites visitors to slow down, connect and learn through doing – discovering how knowledge, environment and community are always intertwined.  Ron Bradfield Jnr is a Bardi and Jawi saltwater man from north of Broome, now based in Perth on Whadjuk Boodjar. The son of a Stolen Generations mother, his life and work are deeply connected to the broader Indigenous experience.
