Held annually, the Yabun Festival is a significant cultural event and the largest community-led celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in Australia. The 2026 edition is taking place at Victoria Park in Camperdown on January 26.

Gadigal for “music to a beat”, the festival was founded in 2003 and seeks to promote the careers of emerging talents from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

It is expected to continue expanding both in scale and impact, through its diverse agenda of contemporary music, dance, panel discussions, workshops, markets and community activations.
