Lynette Brown is part of the art center Papulankutja Artists.

Lynette Brown was born at Malara, west of Kanpi Community In the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands of South Australia. Her parents were travelling by donkey and camel from Amata (APY Lands) towards Mount Davis in Western Australia when Lynette was born.

Lynette lives in Irrunytju (Wingellina) and although she lives in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands, her heritage is the Pitjantjatjara language and cultural group.

When visiting relatives in Blackstone, Lynnette paints at Papulankutja Artists, however most of painting is done at Minyma Kutjara Arts Project in Irrunytju.

Lynette is the daughter of well known artist Anmanari Brown. Her sculptural work and paintings are narrative, telling the stories of life on country and in community.
