The Festival International des Textiles Extraordinaires (FITE) offers a unique meeting by creating a international scene in order to show off textiles which have a strong cultural or patrimonial meaning.
HS_Projets, the Bargoin Museum, Clermont Auvergne Métropole and the City of Clermont-Ferrand present the 10th anniversary of the International Festival of Extraordinary Textiles (FITE) and its 6th edition in Clermont-Ferrand, Imagine!
Faculty of visualization of images from sensory or abstract perceptions, sensitive form resulting from direct experience, imagination brings a proposal, and as soon as it is shared it is a common project to follow for better humanity. Like an injunction, the exclamation point invites artists to entrust us with their suggestions, crazy or utopian, for tomorrow and to improve human skills, while preserving our planet.
Imagine! will be held in Clermont-Ferrand in 2022, then in Lithuania in 2023.
It revolves around a central exhibition at the Bargoin museum, from September 15, 2022 to March 26, 2023, and offers a week of events from September 20 to 25, 2022, across fifteen places: exhibitions, installations, performances, parade, professional meetings, screenings of short films, textile workshops, etc.
